Hi lovely Moana, Missing you already!!! Was great to see my boys and parents and they seemed happy to see us to – but from what I have heard they will miss being terribly spoiled by their Nan and Grandad. We can’t thank you enough for your hospitality – you and Hola go above and beyond to please. Brett and I both agree that had we have stayed anywhere else in Tonga, our holiday would definitely not have compared. Please say hi to the kids from us. My youngest two boys regret not getting the chance to meet your lovely children. I hope you have a most enjoyable year and we look forward to keeping in touch. God Bless and lots of love Sharon (aka Sarah) xxxx Sharon Rochaix, srochaix@gotalk.net.au dated 24/01/13 |
Malo e lelei Moana, Tom and I arrived home in the early hours of this morning and I have just transferred the balance owing. It should appear in your account I guess Today or Monday. Please let me know when it arrives so I can be sure the transaction is complete and hasn't gone to Nigeria! Thanks for you fantastic service, friendship and care for myself and Tom. Tom struggles with language and processing words to put a sentence together but with you and your family he gained confidence to speak and initiate a conversation. So THANK YOU Roger Roger Fisher, rogersurfisher@gmail.com dated 12/04/13 |
Malo e lelei Steve, Moana, Hola, Anau, Ryan and the whanau at Ha'atafu! Just wanted to drop you a line and again say thanks for one of the best holidays we have ever had! The beautiful setting was only surpassed by the beautiful nature of the the staff! The food that was prepared for us was the best we have ever had at any resort we have stayed at and this was reiterated when we stayed at the other two establishments we had booked into. If we had the choice again, knowing what we now know, we would have spent our whole holiday at Ha'atafu with you guys. I will be putting a posting onto tripadvisor in the near future sharing with others how much we believe that this is the BEST place to stay in Tonga by miles!!!! Ma te atua koutou e manaaki e tiaki May the lord bless and care for you all Na matou Ronald, Lindy, Tainui and Kiata ps. MOANA....NEK MINUTE!!! Hi, Steve, Sesika and family, We arrived back home late last week, after visiting with the grandkids in Vancouver. Thank you for a wonderful visit at your resort in Tonga. Your friendly family and staff made our visit very memorable. We especially enjoyed our visits with Bouyo. He is a very smart 3 year old. We will forever remember your delicious food, the quaint beach huts and the fascinating snorkelling just a few feet from the doorstep. The fact that there was no electricity for the first few days just adds to the stories that we can tell. We will certainly tell any of our friends who snorkel that your resort has some of the best areas and so close to the accommodations. If Tonga has a tourist bureau, they should definitely promote your “blow-holes”. They are extraordinary and probably some of the best in the world. Again, thank you and God bless. G'day Steve, I was with the group of 9 guys that stayed at your resort last week. I thought I would drop you a line, firstly hoping that you and your family got through "Rene" without too much damage and that everyone came through unscathed. I also wanted to say what an awesome experience it was to stay at your resort, surf high quality waves, and enjoy the great Island style hospitality shown by your family and yourself. Once again, thanks for a great week. Kind regards, Doug Broad, douglou@bigpond.net.au dated 17/02/2010 |
Steve – just transferred the balance of $300 owing on my tab to your St George bank Account in Nowra. Regarding our stay for the week we all had a wonderful time! We enjoyed some great surf, island hospitality, awesome food at your resort and heaps of fun stuff every day. No wonder you decided to stay when you first came all those years ago, it is a lovely place indeed. As a Dad I was so stoked to see my kids having such a ball – we really appreciated also the Christ honouring way you go about things. We went to church Sunday in Ha’atafu village, the singing was pretty overwhelming. We had such a good time that we would love to return hopefully in Feb 2010. Some questions
Thanks Steve – we had a ball, just need to get back so we can score ET’s glassy! Kind regards - Rod PS as goofy would love to surf fishtraps as well Rod Dowe, farmscapeconsulting@bigpond.com dated 03/04/2009 |
Steve, Wanted to say thanks for the great visit and especially the amazing food. As one who appreciates good eating I found your dishes lovely. I caught a few memorable waves. The blowholes, cave, and Tongan culture added to an already fun time. Due to the late departure I couldn't thank everyone personally. Please pass on my appreciation to all the family and staff. Thanks again. Clayton Matchett, claytonmatchett@mac.com dated 11/11/2009 |
